Laya healthcare will launch 3 new plans on 12 January 2013; Teach Choice, Teach Plus and Essential Connect Saver.
Teach Choice (€714.44 per adult) covers a semi-private room in a public hospital and certain listed cardiac procedures in the Mater Private. There is a maternity accommodation grant of €3,500. There are some day-to-day benefits provided, such as 50% of charges up to €30 per year for chiropracty, chiropody and podiatry and up to €40 for routine dental visits with a €1 outpatient excess. Other outpatient benefits carry a €220 individual outpatient excess per year.
Teach Plus (€1014.44 per adult) covers a private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital, inlcuding the Beacon hospital, with an excess of €50 or €125 per private hospital claim, depending on which private hospital you attend. There is a maternity accommodation grant of €4,000. There are some day-to-day benefits provided, such as 50% of charges up to €30 per year for chiropracty, chiropody and podiatry and up to €40 for routine dental visits with a €1 outpatient excess. Other outpatient benefits carry a €220 individual outpatient excess per year.
Essential Connect Saver (€798 per adult) provides cover for a semi-private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital with an excess of €250 per private hospital claim. There is a maternity accommodation grant of €3,500. Limited outpatient benefits carry a €220 individual outpatient excess per year.
