Laya healthcare will release two new plans on 1 December 2012.
Total Health (No Excess) (€1018.70 per adult) will provide cover for a private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital. A maternity accommodation grant of €3,500 is provided. There are significant outpatient benefits, which typically provide €20 per visit to a practitioner, with an individual outpatient excess of €220 per year.
Total Health Plus (€1028.69 per adult) will provide cover for a private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital, with a private hospital inpatient excess of €100 per claim. A maternity accommodation grant of €3,500 is provided. There are significant outpatient benefits, which typically provide a 50% refund per visit to a practitioner, with an individual outpatient excess of €1 per year.
