VHI will release PMI 35 13 (€1,060 per adult, €375 for child 1-3 and €390 for student 1-3) on 1 August 2013.
This product provides cover for a private room in public hospitals, a semi private room in private hospitals and day case cover in Blackrock Clinic, Beacon and Mater Private hospitals with a €100 excess per private hospital claim.
Specified hip, knee and shoulder joint replacement procedures will be covered up to 80% in private hospitals.
There is a maternity grant of €3,325 for private hospitals. There are also significant outpatient benefits, such as €25 x 7 visits to a GP, dentist, physiotherapist or alternative practitioner with a €1 outpatient excess.
